Veronica Kido, President, Kido Communications, LLC

I’m a writer, editor, and communications advisor with 25+ years of experience helping organizations connect with audiences online, in print, and across platforms. I’ve worked in technology, consulting, financial services, higher education, and the social sector, creating everything from thought leadership and feature articles to integrated marketing campaigns.

I bring editorial rigor, creative thinking, and a storyteller’s sensibility to every project. As a collaborative partner, my goal is to strengthen your voice—not overwrite it.

Let’s connect
If you’re looking for a collaborator who can jump into a project, ask the right questions, and help you create compelling content, I’d love to talk. Please get in touch.

My Background:

Editorial rigor combined with a teaching mindset

I began my career as an assistant editor where I experienced the rigor of producing a monthly magazine. That foundation led me to earn a master’s degree in English Composition from a nationally recognized urban public university, where I also taught writing to non-traditional students. Teaching sharpened my ability to help others not only find the right words, but also uncover the heart of their ideas.

During the 20 years that followed, I worked with marketing teams and subject matter experts at technology, research and consulting, financial services, and non-profit organizations. This collaborative work taught me a valuable lesson: that the best content comes from listening closely, understanding what matters to your audience, and turning expertise into stories that inspire action. That approach has delivered results, including recognition as an ITSMA Marketing Excellence Awards finalist for “The Game Changers,” an integrated multimedia storytelling campaign for NTT DATA, a global IT services firm.

A sense for storytelling

As a creative writer, I know the power of a good story. My creative pieces have been published in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals. My storytelling sensibility informs everything I write—helping readers connect with content and the brand.

Committed to community

Writing is both my profession and my passion. Since 2019, I’ve volunteered as the Writers Studio coordinator at Follow Your Art Community Studios, designing programs, events, and opportunities that support emerging writers and foster creative community.

The Writers Studio at FYACS launched in 2019. Read about our journey in The Melrose Messenger.
